AMPED AND READY TO GO!

At this stage, you should have already received your placement information and the invoice for your program fee. Before submitting your program fee payment, there are a few details you should understand. While we have already covered these details, we feel they are worth mentioning again.

Further, please be advised that there are some exceptions/exclusions. Please read your host country's homepage and your project information to ensure that you understand what those exceptions and exclusions are. In addition, feel free to contact the program manager for your destination should you have any additional questions.

Fee Includes:
  • Airport pick-up; (Some exceptions apply in Guatemala)
  • One time, one way transfer to host family stay; (Some exceptions apply in Guatemala and Argentina.)
  • One time, one way transfer to project site; (Some exclusions apply in Ecuador)
  • Three meals per day beginning with the project start date; (Some exclusions apply in Argentina and Ecuador)
  • Placement arrangements
  • 24/7 emergency staff support
Fee Excludes:
  • Air-fare
  • Airport drop-off
  • Airport tax
  • Meals and accommodations before and after the start & end
  • dates of the program
  • Daily transportation (to and from accommodations to the project)
  • Bottled water and soft drinks
  • Personal expenses
  • Any kind of entry fee (during travel)
  • Travel insurance; Proof of travel insurance must be submitted prior to departure and must meet or exceed the following minimum coverage guidelines:
Refund Policy:

In the event that you decide to cancel your program, we must receive a letter or email from you informing us of the cancellation. When you cancel your program, AMPED retains your entire application fee of $250 as a cancellation fee. The amount of the program fees refunded depends on the date you cancel in relation to your program start date. The refund amount will be less any service fees charged by your credit card company and financial institution.

Acceptable Forms of Payment:

We accept credit/debit cards, money orders, and wire transfers.

If you are paying via wire transfer, please add an additional $12 USD to cover the cost of wire transfer fees and services.
